South Shore - Spring 2025

Spring coed league kicks off on April 18 for grades K through 9th. The early bird special runs through Feb. 2nd. Regular registration will close on April 4th. 

  • Rookie, Junior, Senior Divisions play 6 v 6 & Pro Division play 5 v 5
  • Games are played on Friday evenings regardless of school events and holidays
  • There are 6 regular season games, followed by a playoff tournament
  • Games are scheduled to start between 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • All teams make the playoffs.

Registration is on an individual family basis and coaching is handled by parents, volunteering. This is a requirement of the league.

Kids are placed on teams in the following order of priority:

  • Volunteer Coach Roster
  • Parent's Teammate Preference
  • Grade / School

 Funsports offers a sibling registration discount and the third sibling or more play free.

Fundamental Sports LLC (Funsports) was established in 2013 to teach boys and girls the basic skills and values of sports, and equally important, to promote the principles of teamwork, strong effort, sportsmanship, and respect. As part of our commitment to these principles - which reach far beyond the athletic fields - we will periodically spotlight a nonprofit organization to raise awareness of important issues that positively impact our children and collective communities.  Funsports is the leading Boys and Girls Friday Night Flag Football league on Long Island. All games are played on Friday night - Under the Lights!
